Home Learning Options 15 - 17 February 2021

Here are some digital and non-digital learning options to do while you are at home over the next few days. Please scroll down to see all the options.

We will also be holding a Google Meet Tuesday and Wednesday at 11am till 11.30am. I will share the link to your email.

Meet the Staff, Tuesday 16 February, 3.15 - 4.30pm - POSTPONED

Come along with your child/ren and meet your child’s teacher! Classrooms will be open 3.15 - 4.30pm. The pool will be open but parents/caregivers must supervise their own children, and we will need to do a head-count to ensure we do not exceed the maximum number of students at one time. Please note, the pool will close at 4.30pm. A sausage sizzle will be available, $2 per sausage, and the Friends of the School (FOS) will be by the pool to chat with families about helping at school during the year.

Welcome to Room 23 - 2021.

Tēnā koutou, Talofa lava, Malo e lelei, Kia Orana, Greetings, Namaste, Chao, Bula vinaka and Welcome back to school.

School Starts Back - Thursday 4th February at 8:55am

Our theme this year is 

In Our Backyard 

 Kia mau ki te tokanga nui a noho 

 There is no place like home

A few reminders for Term 1.

1. Hats and drink bottles - It is our school expectation that in Terms 1 and 4, children must wear a hat during break times. Please name your child's hat and water bottles. Please note, we are a water only school.

2.  Swimming - Swimming is a compulsory part of the curriculum and for this term and we will be asking that all children bring their togs and towel every day.

3.  Clothing - Please name your child's property - all clothing including hats, socks, togs, towels and bags. Please talk to your child about the importance of looking after their possessions. We try to promote self-management and learning these key competency skills.

4. Garden to Table - Garden to Table begins on Wednesday 10 February. Children will need closed-in/sport shoes each Wednesday for Garden to Table.
