Welcome back for Term 3 everyone!!

 

We have another very busy term ahead of us!

  • Week 1 - Science in a Van first day back Monday first block.
    • Week 2 - Learning Chats - Wednesday 4th of August and Thursday 5th of August. Have you booked an interview time with your child? If not, you can always see me and I will book it for you.
    • Week 2 - Cook Island Language Week
    • Week 3 - Maths Week
    • Week 6 - 10 - Music lessons with Mal on Monday afternoons.
    • Week 7 - Tongan Language Week.
    • Week 8 - Maori Language Week.
    • Week 9 - Book Week with a book character day on Friday 24th September.
    • Week 10 - Green Week

    • 1.  A focus on Volcanoes and Zones of Regulation
      2. Our oral language retell story is 'Battle of the Mountains'
      3. It's film festival term - We will be filming and editing our own movies.
      4. Kauri Sports Thursday afternoons
      5. Our Kauri novel this term is  "Únder the Mountain" by NZ Author Maurice Gee.

      • Don't forget that you can bring extra clothes to change into if you think you will get muddy playing on the field at break times.
      • Bring your water bottle to school everyday.
