Kia Ora and Malo e lelei. Welcome to Room 7's Class Blog. We are a class of Year 5 and 6 students. This is a place where we share our Learning Journey. Our school-wide theme this year is - Not all Superheroes Wear Capes! Our blogs are a collection of questions, ideas, learning in progress and finished work. We would love you to leave comments to help us to improve our Learning. Malo Γ‘upito.
Hi Everyone. By my sight of view and researching about it here's what I found about water and fire. Water-a substance composed of the chemical elements hydrogen and oxygen and existing in gaseous, liquid, and solid states (Also that this is one of the most important thing to stay alive because it gives you oxygen and nitrogen with other gases too). While on the other side
ReplyDeleteFire-the rapid oxidation of a material, releasing heat, light, and various reaction products (Kind of the same here it is like one of the most useful thing and also that it gives you oxygen and nitrogen including the other gases) So as you researched and learned more bout the 2 substances probably, I think my choice would be controlling water now the question is Why? because I can not just make 100% pure water for everyone but also can not let the tsunami erupt by just controlling the water at its level. Thanks for giving me a chance to answer a beautiful question like this.
Blog you later,
Asfan.
Hey!
ReplyDeleteIf i had to choose to control neither one of them I'd pick water, but it's hard to pick here's why.
Fire is seen as more deadly, although it also helps with life and living, though bit less than water. Fire can also evaporate water, but only if it is a large fire or not much water. Fire is known for burning down things like trees and even creatures.
Anyways heres what I'd do well controlling Fire or water. With water I'd help with some tiny fires and Something really cool is I can be hydrated all day! Next is Fire, I'll just roast marshmallows up near the campfire all night. π
That's it for today, Cya!

Kia Ora, I would rather be able to control water because if I wanted it to rain at any time I could just make it happen. Here are some facts about water. Water is a substance that covers 71% of the Earth's surface. We use it to drink, take a shower, water your garden, wash stuff, You need it to survive.
ReplyDeleteKia Ora, I would rather choose Water and the reason for that is: I can make a source of water clean so If I wanted I can go to the sea, beach or any where that has a dirty/salty source of water clean, it's very useful.
ReplyDeleteBye!
I would rather control water because if a tsunami came then I can make a tornado with it make it go back as far I can go and drop it softly. If one of my family members drown I can make them come back by pushing them on to shore.
ReplyDelete1. You can make a flame with flint an steel.
ReplyDelete2. You can make a flame with sticks an rock.
3. You can make a flame with gas.
Kia ora everyone. Water, a substance composed of the chemical elements hydrogen and oxygen and existing in gaseous, liquid, and solid states. It is one of the most plentiful and essential of compounds.
ReplyDeleteFire is the rapid oxidation of a material in the exothermic chemical process of combustion, releasing heat, light, and various reaction products.
I would rather have the power to control water because if there was a huge fire in the city, I would shoot water balls at the fire and the fire will go out.

Kia Ora Everyone,I would rather to be able to control water so if I want to rain in nights I can able to make happen. Here's a facts about water, Water covers about 71% of the earth's surface, 326 million cubic miles of water on the planet.
ReplyDeleteKia Ora everyone. I would rather to have control of Water because fire only helps with cooking, making a campfire or something else but water can help with a lot of things like watering your garden, drinking, having a shower and lots of other stuff.
ReplyDeleteKia ora everyone, If I could choose a element to control between fire and water, it would be water, Why? Good question.
ReplyDeleteWater, nearly 97% of the world's water is salty or otherwise undrinkable and is composed of two elements, Hydrogen and Oxygen.
Fire, most of the fuels we use derive their energy from trapped solar rays, and a bonfire is a tree running in reverse.
And my answer for that question would be to control water, why? Also a good question! I would control the 97% of the undrinkable water and replace it with a simple way, rain of course! Also I could lay a hand to our hard working heroes, the fire fighters!

Kia Ora,I would rather control water because only water can go down the drain and water can be use in a lot of things.
