    My name is Asfan. I think the cooking method which is similar to umu is Hangi. I haven't tried any Samoan dishes but I have seen the photos of some Samoan dishes like- Palusami, Faiai Eleni and Kopai. I have also seen more but these are the ones that I remembered from last year.

  5. Talo falava, my name is Helen. The Maoris in New Zealand use Hāngi that is similar to a umu and I have tried Samoan food. It was really yummy. I was at Garden to Table and we made chop suey. It tasted so good.

    It's like Fish in Coconut Cream it tasted yum but at the same time it tasted not very bad.

  7. Talofa lava, my name is Keisomani. The cooking method that is similar is a Hangi. What I have tried not often is keke puaa and that is cake pig (pork bun) now. I know that it sounds weird but if you actually try it, its so yum. I have eaten it with my family at home.

  9. Talofa, my name is Damien. The cooking method that is similar is a Hāngi. Koko laisa and araisa with coconut. Keke puaa (pork bun) is yum. I had araisa with coconut and Keke puaa with my family in my house. I had Koko laisa with my class room last year in garden to table.

  10. Talofa lava, my name is Titan from Room 23. The cooking method that is similar to Umu is Hāngi. If I did get to eat a Samoan dish/food it would be Kopai because it looks so tasty and delicious. If you don't know what Kopai is a sweet desert dumpling.

    The cooking method use in New Zealand that is similar to a umu is called a Hangi. The Samoan dish that my family and I eat is called 'oka 'i 'a (raw fish). Some people think that it sounds gross but it is actually yummy.

    What Samoan dish have you tried? Please let me know.

  13. Talofa lava, I am Mehmet from Room 23 and my favourite dish that I ate is Samoan chop suey and the reason is because of it's flavour and it's like noodles it's really easy to twist around with a fork to get a lot of the chop suey and it's a 5 star and you should definitely try it

    My name is Stephen. The Hangi (Maori pronunciation: hangi. I once had sweet dessert Dumplings they tasted so yum because I once went to Samoa to see my aunty because she lives there and they were the yummiest food that I ate there. I had some different types of food there too.

  22. Talofa lava. My is Sakaria and I am Samoan. The cooking method is New Zealand that is similar to an Umu is called Hangi. We eat alot of Samoan food at special occassions. We made a taro with luau that is like palusami meat,fish,coconut cream wrapped in a taro leaf. In Samoa with my dad and my brothers we always have a tona'i and it's always tasted yummy.
