Welcome to Chinese Language Week 2019

This week we celebrate Chinese Language Week. Our visitor this week is David Tuipulotu. He introduced himself in the Chinese Language, spoke to us about his passion for learning the Chinese Language and Culture. David won many speech competitions and in 2012 studied at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China.

David read a story and sang two songs in the Chinese Language to us and our Buddy Class, Room 17.

Happy 25th Birthday Duffy.

Today, we celebrated Duffy's 25th Birthday. Our special guest was Sgt Debbie Aitken.

Thank you Vaughn, Taito and Marcus for decorating our Class Duffy Box.

Celebrating our Schools 90th birthday and our Art Exhibition Opening.

Today, we celebrated our schools 90th Birthday and the opening of our Art Exhibition. 

As part of what we learned in class, we sculptured our own solar system and we also painted pictures reflecting our cultural journeys. 

Room 23 and Room 17 (Buddy class) making Fry Bread.

We celebrated the end of "Te Wiki o Te Reo Maori" with the support and help from Whaea Trudi to make Fry Bread. Both classes were divided into two groups. One group enjoyed the activities organised by Mr. Greenfield (Buddy Class Teacher) and the other group prepared the Fry Bread with Whaea Trudi and me. Thank you Whaea for your support because both classes enjoyed the experience.
