Duffy Assembly

Our role model for our Duffy Assembly was Jack Tame. Jack is a New Zealand television and radio journalist and presenter. He talked to us about why reading is so important for his work and shared his favourite books.

Swimming with the Coaches - wearing our life jackets

This morning, the swimming coaches showed the students in Room 23 how to put on their life jackets correctly. They also showed them different ways that they could use to help others in the water.  The students enjoyed the lessons and are looking forward to their next swimming session tomorrow morning.

Cultural Unity Day

Yesterday, it was Cultural Unity day here at our school. Here is a picture of Room 23 students dressed in their cultural clothes. A very special day indeed.
