Kia Ora and Malo e lelei. Welcome to Room 7's Class Blog. We are a class of Year 5 and 6 students. This is a place where we share our Learning Journey. Our school-wide theme this year is - Not all Superheroes Wear Capes! Our blogs are a collection of questions, ideas, learning in progress and finished work. We would love you to leave comments to help us to improve our Learning. Malo Γ‘upito.

This year our school theme is: "Whakatomene - To Explore and Discover together".
Few Reminders:-
School doors open at 8.30am for 8.55am start.
School doors open at 8.30am for 8.55am start.
1. Hats and drink bottles - It is our school expectation that in Terms 1 and 4, children must wear a hat during break times. Please name your child's hat and water bottles. A reminder that we are a water-only school.
2. Swimming - Swimming is a compulsory part of the curriculum and for this term, we have coaches in school to accelerate learning. As water safety is so important, we will be asking that all children bring their togs and towel every day.
3. Clothing - Please name your child's property - all clothing including hats, socks, togs, towels, and bags. Please talk to your child about the importance of looking after their possessions. We try to promote self-management and learning these key competency skills.
Wishing you all a happy and healthy Term one; best wishes from your child's teacher.
